ChurchNews & Events, Serve

~Sharon Swanson is selling tickets for the chance to win an evening out on the town to eat dinner at the theater and see Wicked. It’s a $250 package! The evening is set for the 7:30pm curtain call on Sunday, May 1st, at the Music Hall at Fair Park. She will be in the foyer after worship every Sunday up to the performance. Chance tickets are $15 each or $25 for two. Good luck!

~Judy Dickerson and Sheri Ketchum are having a combined baby shower for Cedar Hill’s favorite non-profits: Hope Mansion, Bridges Safehouse, and Cedar Hill Shares (the food pantry). The party itself will be Wednesday, June 8, at 1pm in our gym. But during the month of April and May we will collect gift items and financial donations. Rumor is Judy might host one of her famous bake sales to support the effort too.
You will find a donation box in the foyer of the church, and gift bags to take home and fill with change, cash or check.  Checks should be made out to our church, and include “Baby Shower” in the memo.
