So, where are Jeff & Cindi today on their ‘Voyage of the Vikings’ cruise?

08/22, Halifax, Nova Scotia: Feeling like we’re back to “normal” civilization for the first time since Ireland. It’s extremely multicultural here, from hosting many and varied festivals for the eclectic population to hosting the world’s largest International Tattoo (military marching) competition. Most interesting local veggies are fiddleheads, tasty sprouts on a fern-like plant that grows wild. (Google them for curious pictures.) And Cindi’s hit pay dirt! They’re in the middle of their annual Wild Blueberry Harvest Festival, her favorite fruit. Didn’t know, but these little gems are one of the only superfruits native to North America.

~ “O taste and see that the Lord is good…” Psalm 34:8. For us, the goodness of God has been seen through out this trip in layers upon layers of evidences—sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touches, and especially Holy Spirit moments.
