The Lamplighters is a group of women who meet monthly for an hour or so on the second Monday of each month, at 2:00 p.m. in the parlor of the Historic Sanctuary.

This group has been meeting for so many years that no one can remember exactly how long. We know it began as a “Circle” of the “Women’s Society of Christian Service” (which later became the United Methodist Church), and when the other “circles” ceased to exist, this one kept going. Even though the group name has existed for many years, we still meet to enjoy the fellowship we find here, and we would love to have any and all women of the church come and join us. We have refreshments, we have a lesson, we pray for those who request prayer, we sign cards to send to those who are ill or unable to be with us.
