“Your church needs you TodayTomorrow, and in the Future

Dear Congregation,
Judging from the temperature over Memorial Day weekend, summer has arrived. Also, church attendance Sunday was easy to count because the pews were kinda empty. We missed you if you were not here; however, the church goes on and the electricity and water bills come year round!
The stewardship group has decided not to meet until the new pastor gets into town. We look forward to some new ideas although we will miss Jeff’s input and guidance. A few things to ask that you consider as you enjoy the summer months:

  • Please keep tithing and/or making your contributions to the budget. Just because you are gone, your gifts to the church don’t have to stop. There are two “Donate” buttons on our website: 1stCH.org.
  • Pray for our new pastor and her success.
  • Jeff and Cindi need prayers, too.

We need help with the mowing and trimming around the church campus. We typically do this work on Saturday mornings. Work starts at 8am and usually finishes before noon. If you have questions, contact John Monroe or David Evans. Thank you for your tithes, time, and talents.                                                                                                     John Monroe
