As our “Do Something” campaign comes to a close, I want to thank everyone who participated in this amazing “Love Thy Neighbor” experience. Everyone I have talked to has been so energized as we reached out to communities nearby and across the world. Our original $5000 from Missions has more than tripled with many people reaching into their own pockets. I am humbled by the outpouring of love and action working together. As I said in church – it is a great day to be a member of First United Methodist Church in Cedar Hill.

In April, communion will be celebrated on Sunday, April 8. Our missional communion offering that day goes to UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief for their amazing disaster response.
