Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to our Great Cookie Caper!  With your help, we raised nearly $2100. 

The family we adopted this year lives in Cedar Hill and has three children still in the home.  Earlier this fall, the father suffered an accident and after a month-long hospital stay, passed away.  About a month later, one of the sons had an appendix rupture, so again a hospital stay and more large hospital bills.  So, this sweet family lost their husband/father, primary financial provider, and now have huge medical bills.  Our wrapped gifts to them were probably the only gifts they received this year.  Additionally, we were able to purchase a new stove for them to replace their existing one — which only had one working burner.  

Each year I am in awe of the generosity of our church and the way God leads us to the perfect family for us to bless.  Thank you to everyone for being a part of that!
