We will be doing a summer mission drive for Cedar Hill Shares, our local food pantry. There are many nonfood items that are not supplied through the North Texas Food Bank. Therefore we will designate each summer month with a different item. We will start in June with diapers and baby wipes. Any size is appreciated. In July we will do personal toiletries, such as toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, bathroom tissue, etc. August will be cleaning supplies, such as sponges, paper towels, cleaners, detergents, dish soap, and bleach. A box will be set up in the main sanctuary foyer and outside the office for donations. Your support for this is greatly appreciated.
This summer our communion offerings will be going to Imagine No Malaria in June. July will be proVision Asia, Chip and Jean Kingery’s mission. August will be Gideons International, and Mr. Potter from Gideons will be speaking that day.
