Cedar Hill Shares, the food pantry, was started by First United Methodist Church of Cedar Hill. Volunteers stock shelves and assist clients. Volunteers can also sign up to help with Meals on Wheels that are picked up from Cedar Hill Shares.
Bridges is another mission this church started. It is a safe place for women and children where they can get the help they need to get back on their feet, with parenting classes and much more.
The Chamber of Commerce provides welcome bags to new residents. Volunteers also provide information on churches in the area.
