Partners & Friends Sunday School Class

Meets in the larger classroom in Wesley Hall at 8:45 a.m.
Mike Immler is the teacher of this class. They are currently studying the book of Jeremiah.

Wesley Sunday School Class

Meets in the larger classroom at the back of the Main Sanctuary at 8:45 a.m.
The teacher is Debbie Gallagher. Adam Hamilton’s John: TheGospel of Light and Life is the current study for this class.

Sojourners Sunday School Class

Meets in the smaller classroom at the back of the Main Sanctuary at 9:00 a.m.
Oceana Wright teaches this class. They are currently studying Max Lucado’s Unshakable Hope.

XYZ (Xtra Years of Zest)

A group of senior adults that meets on the fourth Thursday of each month in the Wesley Hall gym at 11:45 a.m. Each person brings something to eat for a covered dish luncheon, and everyone eats and visits. Most of the time they participate in a short program, too.

Living Joy Ladies’ Bible Study Group

This group gathers on the first and third Thursdays of each month in the Historic Sanctuary Parlor at 9:30 a.m. They enjoy food, fellowship, friendship, and studying God’s Word together with Oceana Wright as facilitator.

Gospel of John Bible Study Group

The group studying the Gospel of Matthew meets at 7:00 p.m. in the larger classroom in Wesley Hall on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. The study is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the teaching of Jesus. The study is interactive, and our method is to observe the text, interpret the text, and apply it to our lives. We invite anyone and everyone to join us! This group is led by George Shultz.

Christian Singles’ Video Study

This group meets on the 1st Monday of each month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 620 Westchester Pkwy, # 11105 ( the home of Carol Miller). We are studying Andy Stanley’s “Christian, It’s Not What You Think” for an understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Christ. Come join us as we encourage each other and develop relationships. Santhia Collins facilitates this group.

Saturday Morning Devotional

Breakfast and a devotional happens on Saturday mornings at 7:30 a.m. at Dick’s Uptown Cafe. Although the group started with the lawn crew, we welcome everyone. This is a BYOB gathering–Buy-Your-Own-Breakfast and a great way to start your weekend.


A group of women who gather the second Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the parlor of the Historic Sanctuary to share conversations, refreshments, a short lesson and to send cards to our members going through difficulties.

Music Ministry

You are invited to join the Chancel Choir as we rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Wesley Class Room behind the Main Sanctuary. We would love to have you.
Instruments of Your Peace is the name for our worship band. You are invited to join them in the Main Sanctuary at 8:15 a.m.
Acting In Faith is an intergenerational drama group. Anyone interested in participating in the dramas is invited as well as any seamstresses.
Revelation Ringers rehearsals are on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. in the Wesley Class Room behind the Main Sanctuary. All are invited.

High Rise Day Hab for Special Needs Adults

Special needs adults of all ability levels have a structured environment of learning, fun activities, trips, and socialization. This group meets Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00  p.m. Directors are Jeri Barnett and Jessica Pena. For more information, contact Jeri at 972-977-2324 or Jessica at 469-236-6917.


Christian Yoga classes

Meet Monday through Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center. Each class opens and closes with prayer. The classes involve gentle stretching exercise easy enough for beginners.
The cost is $25 per month. LuAnne King teaches these classes.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

This group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and the fourth Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in the Historic Sanctuary Parlor. If you do not know how to knit or crochet, come learn and join this special ministry. Rides are available if requested.

AA of Cedar Hill

AA of Cedar Hill  is now meeting in the Historic Sanctuary Parlor. Meetings are 1 hour long and are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at noon and Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7:00 p.m.


Game Night and Dessert Potluck

Join us for the fun and fellowship as this group meets in months with a 5th Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the Historic Sanctuary parlor.

Free Country Western Dance Lessons

A four week session of basic Two-step, Waltz, and Polka dance steps meets every 6 months at 6:00 p.m. in Wesley Hall gym.


Offered as needed for those who have lost loved ones.

Financial Peace University (Dave Ramsey)

Offered as needed. Brent Houser and George Hetherington facilitate the sessions held in the Wesley Room in the back of the Main Sanctuary.
