Santhia Collins, originally from Atlanta, Ga, surrendered to God’s call to the ministry through music at the age of 12. After beginning to study piano at the age of 7, Santhia continued to participate in the music ministry of her church as a vocalist and accompanist. Moving to Birmingham, Alabama, she studied Music Education at Samford University with voice as her principle and piano as her secondary. She taught choral music in the Bay City ISD before serving in churches in the Texas Baptist Convention and in the Texas and New Mexico Conferences of the United Methodist Church.
