Outreach events throughout the year include welcoming new guests, Taste of Cedar Hill, Mission Fun Run, apple dumplin’ booth at Country Day on the Hill, Fall Festival, etc… Contact the church office to get involved.

Missions

Our annual projects include “Do Something” during Lent which provides tangible blessings to organizations and families, water.org which provides clean water and sanitation in developing countries, Compassion International which provides spiritual and secular education for needy children worldwide, and Operation Christmas Child which provides gifts and faith training for Third World children. We are also heavily involved in Cedar Hill Shares (the local food pantry), Bridges Safehouse, two missionary couples, UMCOR, and so on… Contact the church office to get involved.

Music

You are invited to join the Chancel Choir as we rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm in the Historic Sanctuary. We would love to have you.
Instruments of Your Peace is the name for our worship band. You are invited to join them in the Main Sanctuary at 8:15am.
Acting In Faith is an intergenerational drama group. Anyone interested in participating in the dramas is invited as well as any seamstresses.
Revelation Ringers rehearsals are at 5:00pm in the Main Sanctuary. All are invited.
S.O.U.L. Kids rehearsals are on Tuesdays at 5:00pm in the Wesley Hall lobby. All children in first through fifth grade are invited.

Children and Youth

Children and youth ministries include Sunday School, S.O.U. L. Kids Children’s Choir, and Crossfire Student Ministry for middle and high school students. Volunteers teach classes, provide snacks, and drive to outings.

Yard Crew

Our Yard Crew works hard throughout the year on our campus grounds mowing, pulling weeds, trimming bushes and trees, and repairing and painting fences. Helpers in any of these areas are always welcome. Maintenance to our buildings includes changing light bulbs, cleaning windows, etc… Contact the church office to get involved.
