It has been a globally renowned ship-building city w/many yards, including the one that built the RMS Titanic. Though soccer is the favorite sport here, “hurling” is the most uniquely Gaelic. It draws large crowds to watch a match of men w/big sticks whack a ball around. It’s been played for more than 3000 years! This city is also known for a vast arts influence.
