So, where are Jeff & Cindi today on their ‘Voyage of the Vikings’ cruise?

07/21, Bar Harbor, Maine: First called Eden, we see why settlers thought it attractive and gardenesque. It’s postcard maritime New England. Wrinkled granite cliffs accent a very unusual coastline. Originally known as a clamming spot, today it’s known for fine lobster (yes, we ate some fresh fine lobster.) Quaint though it is, it’s mostly known as a second home for many of America’s super wealthy. And yet not one of them has offered to pay off our church note. What’s w/that?

~ The psalmist of 148 calls all creatures and created things to praise the Lord. He lists great sea creatures… wild animals, livestock, “creeping things” and flying birds. Yes, creeping lobsters praise the Lord; and I thank the Lord and you pass the drawn butter. Yum!
