~ ~ OLD TIME RELIGION ~ ~
From July 16th through September 10th we will worship in our Historic Sanctuary with two services at 8:30am and 10:00am! The key worship feature of these nine weeks is that Pastor Jeff will lift up and preach our very own favorite passages of Scripture. Besides getting to enjoy the crown jewel of well-preserved old buildings in Cedar Hill, we also get to save a lot money. Consulting with i3, our energy management partner, we discovered the two optimum electricity billing cycles to avoid use of our Main Sanctuary during the hottest stretch of the year. Our Leadership Council further discussed whether to offer one or two services in the smaller Historic Sanctuary and unanimously agreed we still need two in order to make room for everyone.
In addition to these two Sunday morning worship services, to facilitate our mingling between them we will host a friendly fellowship in the Parlor from 9:30-10:00am every Sunday morning. We’ll offer free coffee and water. However, our youth will also bust out their Holy Grounds specialty espresso bar. In the area of nibblies, Judy Dickerson & Co. will offer simple baked goods through the Bakery Corner. Both groups will have tip jars present for those who would contribute to our youth ministry and our support of the water.org mission.

Jesus said, “... go make disciples, baptizing them and teaching them to obey Me too. I’m with you always.”
