I realize that winter is barely over (or is it?); however, the time is NOW to begin planning for our 50th Annual Fall Festival. Mark your calendars: Nov 10th, 2018. We will need ALL HANDS on DECK for this very special event. It is not only the largest fundraiser but also the biggest outreach opportunity for our church.
We will be having a monthly craft night where church members will teach us to make craft items beginning in June. We need as many volunteers as possible to help make these crafts to sell at Fall Festival. In addition, please feel free to start making those special craft items on your own for those of you blessed with the creative juices.
We are accepting donations NOW for craft, silent and live auction items. There will be donation buckets set up in the church lobby and foyer. There will also be donation forms for your personal donations and to give to any business that you solicit a donation from. The plan is to have a designated section of the silent auction be for local business donations. We will display company information with their donated item and have business cards or flyers for people to take with them; further supporting those businesses that donate items. Start talking to those businesses that you frequent.
