This table tracks our apportionments for the last three years. It is included to show our improvements in this area… esp. the amount that we’ve budgeted this year. In the past three years we have made steady improvements and gone from paying only $12,000 (34% of what we should pay) to last year’s almost $17,500 which is 60% of what we were to pay. And we have $18,000 budgeted for this year. Quite an improvement.

The main way we support the ministries of the Methodist church as a whole is through our apportioned funds, a method of giving that proportionally allocates the churchwide budget to conferences and local churches. Together, through our connected congregations, we accomplish what no single church, district or annual conference ever could hope to do alone. We combine our prayers, presence, gifts and service to make a significant difference in the lives of God’s people. (explanation of apportionments is from the United Methodist website)
