One of the roles of the Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) is to confer with the pastor about his health and self-care. We met with Pastor Jeff on April 16 to do that, and we thank God that he is doing well, even during this period of transition.
During the recent SPRC meeting, we also reflected on what the Bible says about the ministries of the local church, discussed the compensation levels of the staff, and appointed a liaison person for each staff member. The liaisons are Linda Martin with Santhia, Todd Marsh with Jeremy, Judy Warren with Nancy, Annette McGee with Kelsey and Eric, and Eugene Harris with Charlie. The other members of the SPRC are Pat Johnson, George Hetherington, Cale Houser, and George Shultz. Please pray for all of us as we try to serve the staff and the congregation.

We prayed for the pastor, the staff, our congregation, and the incoming pastor, Dr. Keva Green.
We started planning for a special church event, a pot luck meal send-off for the Garretts, on June 24 after the church service. In addition, we are planning a welcome event for Keva sometime in July.
Our next meeting is scheduled for July 9, at 7:00 PM, so let us know if you have any ideas that you want to share with the SPRC.
