CHURCH NURSERY

Mark 10:14 says “…Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these…”.

As families bring their little children and babies to our wonderful church home, we want to offer and provide a warm, loving, safe environment for their care.   To that end, the Nursery Room in the back hall of our Main Sanctuary Building is going to be used for just that … a Nursery!!  The items previously stored in that room have been relocated, the room will be cleaned and painted, cribs cleaned, and bedding purchased.  We have plenty of Nursery equipment and will have to purchase very little!

Is anyone is willing to help paint that room? Phyllis is going to get the paint and anyone interested can touch base with her about when. It should not take long since the room is not that big.

One thing we will need is volunteers to staff the Nursery on Sunday mornings.  We are hoping to have enough volunteers to implement a rotating schedule of no more than once every 6-8 weeks.  Please contact Phyllis Stegner (972-567-9654) if you are willing to support this very important growth opportunity for our church.
