HUGE THANK YOU to the 60+ VBS Volunteers!

VBS 2019 was a success with 41 students attending most nights. Many relationships were cultivated and seeds planted. We’ve had 6 guest families visit our worship service and have had several students in Sunday School the past 2 Sundays as a result of VBS. This success is a direct result of the OVER 60 volunteers who helped and supported prior to, during, and after VBS. Some cut out decorations, cooked, constructed the stage area, decorated, guided students, led or assisted with crafts, science, recreation, music, assembly and story time, played characters or puppets, handled the sound/technical tasks, took photographs, gave financial support, helped with Children’s church the following Sunday, checked in students, passed out name badges & t-shirts, handled the numerous administration tasks, greeted and socialized with guests, scrubbed tables and chairs in preparation, and formed relationships with the kids.
