The congregational Care group delivered Valentine cheer to about 55 members on Sunday and Monday. Everything but the beautiful roses was handmade including the sacks, the candy boxes, the wonderful cards made by the kids, and the adorable Cupid Squad tags worn by the delivery team. Even the lady at Kroger helped make this special by adding the baby’s breath to the roses after she found out what the roses were for. Those on the receiving end were very pleased and so many have called and emailed to express their thanks and appreciation. Those who delivered had a great time, too, if the comments we have gotten are any indication. Thank you to all who participated for making some special people feel loved even though we do not get to see them face to face very often.
